Ingredients
- 1lb Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1 tbs olive oil OR cooking spray
- 1 tbs garlic powder
- 1 tbs onion powder OR dry minced onion
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp red chili flakes (can omit if you do not like spice)
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup of BBQ sauce of your choice OR see recipe for homemade BBQ sauce.
- Cut, clean, & prep chicken. Leave to the side.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, oregano, salt & pepper in a separate bowl. Set to the side for step 6.
- Line baking tray with foil and spray the foil with oil. Line chicken up on the baking tray.
- If you are using oil, massage oil onto chicken. If you are using cooking spray, then lightly spray the chicken breasts.
- Sprinkle the dry seasoning onto the chicken. Make sure chicken is evenly coated on all sides with seasoning.
- Brush BBQ sauce onto chicken until it is evenly coated on all sides.
- Spray another piece of foil, and cover the chicken. Place in oven for 20 minutes.
- Uncover the chicken, and place back in oven for another 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 165 degrees.
